Skilled Waorani women artisans create necklaces, bracelets, bags, belts, and more from the plants and trees of Yasuní Amazon forest.

Designing, weaving, and and selling these handicrafts provides ecologically sustainable living for the Waorani, and helps them resist the further incursions of the oil companies, loggers, and other threats to their ancestral Yasuní homeland, .

| Every piece is unique. No two are identical. Some pieces take days to weave. Most have a tag with the name of the Waorani woman artisan who made that piece. |

Save America's Forests former intern Emily models beautiful hand-made Waorani artisanry - a woven necklace and one made from nut shells, woven and beaded bracelets, and a shoulder bag. All are made with from natural, renewable vegetable material from the Amazon forests which the Waorani have used for millenia. .
